FSA

Over the weekend we had the opportunity to attend the FSA (Families Supporting Adoption) conference. It was great it taught us so much more about adoption, and the great family of people in the adoption circle. Not only adoptive couples, but also birth parents, birth families, adopted children, and caseworkers. It makes us feel so special to becoming a part of this great family. It made us even more excited to adopt which we didn't think was possible. One of our favorite things about the conference was the birth parent panel that we were able to attend. It was great to hear things from the birth parents point of view, what they wanted us and adoptive couples to know and to hear their great stories. It was awesome, and it also puts us one step closer to being in the system!!!
