Dear Birth Parents and Family,
We would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We are so grateful to you and love you and your families so much. We can't imagine what this is like for you and hope that you know that we realize you are sacrificing a lot for your child.
We think that adoption is such a great thing. It is something that as we learn more about it, we are so grateful that it exists. We are grateful to the birth families who are willing to let us raise their child. To us that is one of the greatest acts of love we have seen,.
We have been married for 4 1/2 years. We do not have any children, but we do have a dog name Lulu. We are so excited to start a family and can't wait to adopt a child.
We have a lot of fun and enjoy being together. We like to go off-roading, especially in Moab. We usually go to Moab twice a year and then to various other places around northern Utah. We enjoy this activity with our family and friends, they bring their kids and we have a great time. We also just like to spend time hanging out at home, with friends, family, and we like to watch movies.
We have a lot of hobbies and interests. Jared enjoys anything that has to do with off-roading. He enjoys working on cars and truck. He also enjoys building things and making them work. Katie enjoys all different types of crafts, painting, floral arranging, etc. She also enjoys decorating cakes, and cooking. We both love spending time with our friends and family, they are such a big part of our lives.
We want our child to grow up to be healthy and happy and we will do anything that we can to make this possible for our child. We believe that discipline is part of that. We plan on disciplining our child in a loving way, that will help the child understand the difference between what is right and what is wrong.
We want our family to always be an eternal family. We love the gospel and this church. We want to make sure that our children know the gospel, and know how special they are to be children of our heavenly father. We want are family to study the scriptures, pray, and go to church together. We feel like that is a big part of keeping a family happy and together.
Jared will continue to work full time once we have a child, and Katie will be cutting down to part-time. We have family who will be able to care for our child. But if we feel that our child is not getting the attentions and things that they need Katie will become a stay at home mom.
We have such a great love for you as birth parents and can't express to you enough how much we admire and respect you and the decision that you have had to make. We think that adoption can be a great experience for both families. We are willing to exchange letters, pictures, e-mails, and phone calls so that we can make you as comfortable as possible with your decision.
